Kari Rodgers: We’ve actually got 10% of our current workforce has come through Local Employment Partnerships. What happens is that you get a diverse workforce who are absolutely committed to coming to work for you. Sammy’s an excellent example. Um, she’s the sort of person that is quite naturally a bubbly personality. However, what the pre-employment training actually did for her is bring out those skills that she had already, and she’s now on the sales floor, she’s doing an excellent job, she can talk to any customer, she feels confident talking to everybody.
